Shatavari
Shatavari has been used in Ayurvedic medicine for hundreds of years. The effect is attributed to the roots. It is a real feminine herb that is often compared to Yin, the symbol for feminine energy.

Shatavari is the number one adaptogen in women's formulas. Adaptogens are often associated with stress processing. Research shows that it affects the stress hormone cortisol.

In addition, we have included a high-quality shatavari extract in our formula. Our extract is in a ratio of 10:1. This means that 250 mg of our extract is equivalent to 2.5 g of crude product. As a result, we also label this extract as ten times more effective than shatavari in powder form!

Maca
The yellow maca originates from Peru, where the plant only grows under specific conditions. Nevertheless, the herb has been increasingly produced in China in recent years. These are usually unstandardized nutrients, which means that we do not know how many active substances these maca varieties contain. As a result, we usually cannot guarantee efficacy. The yellow Peruvian maca in Femme is from the patented Maca-GO® and is standardized to 0.3% glucosinolates for a guaranteed, optimal effect.

In addition, our yellow Peruvian maca is grown under optimal conditions, guaranteeing contamination levels well below the legal minimum.

Vitex agnus castus
Vitex agnus castus, also called monk's pepper, is found in the Mediterranean, Central Asia and North America. The herb has been used there for thousands of years because of its health-promoting effect.

Vitex agnus castus is mainly used for women's health. This has to do with the effect that the herb has on the sex hormones estrogen and progesterone.

Saffron (Affron®)
The high-quality saffron extract contained in this formula is the patented Affron®. This nutrient developer only uses 100% real saffron of the best quality, from controlled Spanish cultivation. That is why their saffron extract is standardized to 3.5% lepticrosalides, the active ingredients.

Saffron is an essential part of the Femme hormone support. It supports normal menstruation and helps with the discomforts that come with it.

Improved absorption by adding piperine (Bioperine®)
Finally, we have added the patented Bioperine® to the formula. This is an extract that consists of no less than 95-98% piperine, the main component of black pepper.
