Mattisson Absolute Celtic Sea Salt comes from the Guerande, a region in Brittany. Mattisson Absolute Celtic Sea Salt is unwashed and unrefined and enriched with Algae (Nori, Dulse, Ulva). Mattisson Celtic Sea Salt Coarse is extracted from the bottom layer that has been in most contact with clay and therefore has a low NaCl content, a mild taste and a somewhat grayish color and coarse structure.
