High curcumin content
Using a turmeric extract with a very high curcumin content (95%) has a significantly greater effect than unprocessed turmeric (curcumin 2-9%). Supplements containing unprocessed turmeric have almost no health-promoting properties. The curcumin dosage (2-9%) is simply too low for this. However, when there is a high-quality curcumin extract (95%) in a high daily dose (650 mg), numerous effects can be attributed to the herb.

Amount of types of curcuminoids
Vitakruid has chosen an unparalleled curcumin complex of no fewer than three types of curcuminoids in Curcuma C3-2X! Although the oils with mono- and sesquiterpenes certainly have an effect, it is mainly the curcuminoids that provide the health-promoting effects of turmeric. Unfortunately, many nutritional supplements contain only curcumin I. The extract that Vitakruid uses for its Curcuma C3-2X is standardized for the most important curcuminoids: curcumin, bisdemethoxy curcumin and demethoxy curcumin. Bioperine®
Bioperine® (95-98% piperine) is an extract obtained from the black pepper fruit. The extract of piperine, called Bioperine®, has been clinically tested in the United States, making it an extremely pure, safe and effective extract. In addition, the presence of Bioperine® significantly improves the bioavailability of the curcumin C3 complex. This means that the curcuminoids are absorbed no less than 20 times better! Moreover, the combination of the curcumin C3 complex and Bioperine® ensures 276x(!) better bioavailability than a product with only a standardized 95% curcumin extract.
