Matcha is the only type of green tea in which the entire tea leaf is drunk in the form of powder and is made from young leaves of the tea plant. The finest and whole leaves are destemmed and slowly ground into a fine tea powder. Matcha naturally has a slightly bitter taste.

Use

Beat 1-2 teaspoons of Matcha powder with fruit juice or water at 60-70°C into a frothy green liquid.

Never whisk for longer than 30 seconds so that the tea does not become bitter. Preferably not a metal spoon.
